Question

Are doubles allowed to play against mixed doubles?

Answer
Official tournaments do not offer such disciplines. Men’s doubles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles are separate disciplines.

But on your own, you can play whichever way you like.

You can also play doubles vs singles, or even 3 vs 3! I have seen people play 3 vs 3. It is extremely exciting because the shuttle movement is very fast. I know some national badminton teams train their players’ reaction by playing 3 vs 3.
